Eating Icecream

Eating Icecream: After Lunch today we went to the shop and bought Icecream and wafers. We shared it between us and ate it. We worked hard all year and deserved a treat. And the weather was beautiful, we needed to cool down ;-)

We are going to go on a maths trail tomorrow if the weather is good. Here are some of the questions that we have prepared. When we come back we will make up our own maths trails for the Junior Classes. We hope they enjoy them. It is great to see Maths up close in the local environment. We will put up photos of the maths trail tomorrow. Q1: What shape is the ball? Q2: Double the amount of racquets then take away half. Q3: What fraction is covered by red? Q4: How many lids do you see? Take away 3. Q5: How many glass windows on the prefabs? Take away 8 of the windows.
Today we visited Mrs. Geraghty's class. They had tadpoles swimming in a bucket. Here are some photos of them. Last week, we learned all about the lifecycle of a frog so we really enjoyed looking at them. Soon they will turn into frogs.
