cold weather

Recently it was very cold in Galway. We decided to check which were the best materials for keeping us warm. We did experiments to test the best insulators. http://www.kids-science-experiments.com/insulators.htm Here is a picture of a thermometer: We covered jars in cotton material, paper, tin foil and we didn't cover one jar. In our experiments we discovered that the jar covered in tinfoil remained the warmest for the longest time. Here are some photos of us playing in the snow!!!
